Halloween Party

The English school we work at held a Halloween party for our students. Halloween is not typically celebrated in Japan. Part of our job is teaching our students about Halloween. We have to say "There is a very scary holiday we celebrate in America called Halloween!" Then we teach them about pumpkins, ghosts, witches, bats, and black cats. We also teach them to say "Trick or Treat." Here are some pictures of all of the teachers in costumes. Frank was a pirate and Melissa was a gypsy.

Here are the Japanese teachers we work with. They're all young and a lot of fun to work with!

Since Halloween is new to these kids, most of them have never worn a costume. They looked adorable, but a lot of them were pretty shy.

You all look a lot cuter than any trick or treaters we had! Furter I love your pants! You could start a new fashion trend here in the states.
